A facelift lasts 1H30 and 2H30.

The cheekbones are lifted by points located in depth, allowing their vertical suspension. The excess skin of the lower eyelid will be resected at the end of the operation. A temporal lift is most often performed during the same operation. An aspect of hypercorrection is usual and will fade within 10 days following the operation. An oedema (swelling) and ecchymoses (bruises) of the eyelids are classic and fade after 10 to 15 days. A cardboard sensation around the eyes is felt and disappears within a few months. 3 to 6 weeks are to be expected after the operation to resume a socio-professional activity. The final result will be judged between the 3rd and 6th month.
