MODE OF ANESTHESIA

General anaesthesia is typically offered. A diazanalgesia can also be performed: you sleep during the operation and do not feel any pain but breathe by yourself. Waking up is usually more comfortable.

HOSPITALIZATION MODALITIES

In most cases, a so-called “outpatient” hospitalisation with discharge on the same evening as the operation is possible. Your surgeon will see you again the day after the operation for a check-up. Sometimes, the surgeon for certain medical reasons may decide a 24-hour hospitalization. In this case, an overnight stay at the clinic is necessary.

DURATION OF THE OPERATION

The operation lasts approximately 1 to 1.5 hours.
