The pain is usually very bearable, controllable with simple analgesics that will be prescribed to you during hospitalization and at discharge from the clinic.

An oedema (swelling) and bruises are visible for a few weeks. The sutures used are absorbable. They do not need to be removed. A compression bra is put on immediately after the operation for 4 to 6 weeks. A 15 to 21 day work stoppage is recommended. Sports activities can be resumed after 6 to 8 weeks. The final result will be assessed one year after the operation.
