The postoperative consequences of buttock augmentation with implants are not simple. It is necessary to follow the instructions very rigorously to limit the risk of complications as much as possible. A support garment will be worn by the patient night and day for 4 to 6 weeks. Local care (dressings) will be carried out by a nurse every day during the entire healing phase (15 to 21 days). The complete sitting position is to be avoided for 3 weeks. Only standing, lying on the stomach or sides and sitting on the upper thighs are allowed. Sport can be resumed gradually after 6 to 8 weeks. An anticoagulant treatment will be prescribed for 8 days after the operation to avoid thrombo-embolic complications such as phlebitis.
