An edema (swelling) is present for 1 to 3 months. Most of the time the pain is very well tolerated. An analgesic treatment will be prescribed for 8 days.
Sports activities will be allowed after 6 to 8 weeks. The volume of the breasts immediately after the operation is not the final volume.
In fact, the initial oedema will disappear in 1 to 3 months. In the same way, the transferred fat volume will decrease by about 30% in the long term.
The final result will therefore be assessed at 6 months.
