Only the hairs in the growth phase – therefore connected to the bulb – will be permanently destroyed during the session. The other hairs will be destroyed, but their bulb can theoretically recreate a hair a few months later. In the resting phase and when the hair is mature, i.e. ready to fall out, the laser is totally ineffective.
It is therefore necessary to repeat the sessions (4 to 8 sessions in total depending on the area) at a rate of about one session every 4 to 6 weeks. The hair removal obtained is total and definitive. Some patients may then need, depending on their hair capital, to have one session per year to maintain the effectiveness.
Please note that you will see an important result from the first session: hair regrowth is almost non-existent 8 to 10 weeks after the first session.
